THE SHARPSHOOTER BLUES

When two out-of-towners are shot dead at William Tell’s general store, Louis McNaughton, a hefty boy with a comic-book-fueled imagination, lies and tells the authorities it was the work of Morgan, “The Sharpshooter”. However, Louis saw the real shooter: Hydro Raney, a hydrocephalic young man, with the intelligence of an eight year old, whom no one in town believes has the capability of doing much of anything, let alone murder. Based on the novel by Lewis Nordan.
