WE WANT YOU!!!

Have a character you enjoy playing other than yourself? How would THEY like an opportunity to go to Mars? We want YOUR Mars Two Audition Tape(s) to share with the world.

To clarify, the audition tape IS the performance. We will be curating the videos on our project Instagram feed with the goal of asking viewers to “comment” on whether or not they think this character has what it takes to be part of the one-way mission to Mars.

And you will not be in this alone. Our director, Todd Sandler, will be supervising all technical aspects of pre-production / production / post and will be available, should you need, to help flesh out your characters and advise on best camera setups.

Here are a few questions to think about including in your character’s audition video:

1. What is your name and where are you from?
2. Why do you want to go to Mars?
3. What do you enjoy doing on earth that you would have to give up on Mars?
4. Are you really willing to leave everyone and everything behind?
5. Why would you be a good candidate?
6. What special skill(s) (or powers) do you possess that could be put to good use on Mars?
7. Final thoughts about why someone should vote for you.

We are NOT looking to profit from this collective. This is an opportunity for ALL OF US artists to collectively flex our creative muscles, all while constrained under the same parameters during these current worldwide events.

We’d love this project to be as diverse as possible- after all, the call to Mars is heard worldwide. Therefore, the more “auditions” we have from around the world, the better we can curate the project. To that end, if you have at least 5 friends that you think would want to participate, please feel free to invite them to take part.

The more original, creative, and well planned they are, the more likely they will get our attention.

Will your participation make the world a better place? Who knows, but it will be a fun experiment. And together, it will provide everyone involved an opportunity to create funny, escapist, consumable content.
